Soybeans in the Oil Barter List

The Grain Association, in a letter to the Minister of Agriculture, proposed including soybeans in the oil barter list due to currency issues and delays in allocating foreign exchange for essential goods, warning of a halt in production in the oil extraction industry.

In this letter addressed to Mohammad Ali Nikbakht, the Minister of Agriculture, it is stated that given the currency issues and delays in allocating and transferring foreign exchange for essential goods, the oil barter route with essential goods, which is currently underway, has had a positive impact on the supply process of essential goods to the country.

It is further suggested that to support domestic production and oil extraction factories, an order should be issued to include soybeans in the oil barter list.
