Special statement by the Football Federation: We will take action against offending players
The Beach Soccer Committee of the Football Federation has announced in a statement that it will address individuals who have not adhered to professional and sports ethics.
The Beach Soccer Committee of the Iranian Football Federation issued a statement as follows after the national beach soccer team won the 2022 Intercontinental Cup in the UAE.
This achievement is the result of the collective efforts of clubs and the national team, led by the Football Federation, and has once again showcased the capabilities of Iran’s sports elites on the international stage. Although some imprudent and opportunistic individuals attempted to downplay these successes and disrupt the national team’s focus by being around the stadium where the competition was held, fortunately, they did not succeed.
It is evident that, based on the regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Olympic Charter, and FIFA’s laws on adhering to the governing principles of football and avoiding any political behavior in sports arenas, individuals who have not observed professional and sports ethics in this regard will be dealt with according to the regulations.
We firmly believe that the Beach Soccer Committee will spare no effort in the growth and sustainable development of football to continue achieving honors on the international stage in line with our country’s roadmap, and we emphatically declare our commitment to proceed in accordance with our national interests.
