Special Statement from the Football Federation: We Will Deal with Misbehaving Players
The Beach Soccer Committee of the Football Federation has issued a statement announcing actions against those who have not adhered to professional and sports ethics.
The Beach Soccer Committee of the Iranian Football Federation issued the following statement after the national beach soccer team’s victory in the 2022 Intercontinental Cup in the UAE.
This achievement is the result of the collective efforts of clubs and the national team, led by the Football Federation, and it has once again showcased the capabilities of Iranian sports elites on the international stage. Although some imprudent and opportunistic individuals attempted to diminish these successes and disrupt the national team’s focus by appearing around the stadium where the competition was held, fortunately, they did not succeed.
It is evident that according to the regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Olympic Charter, and FIFA’s global football federation laws, which emphasize adhering to the governing principles of football and avoiding any political behavior in sports arenas, actions will be taken against those who have not observed professional and sports ethics in this regard, in accordance with the regulations.
We firmly believe that the Beach Soccer Committee is committed to the growth and sustainable development of football to continue achieving international honors, in line with our country’s roadmap, and we emphatically declare that we are committed to proceeding in accordance with our national interests.
