Spectacular Clash Between Sirjan and Yazd Teams in Volleyball Final
Foolad Sirjan Iranian, in the first match of the volleyball Premier League final, defeated Shahrdari Yazd 3-2 in an exciting and back-and-forth contest.
While Foolad was leading 2-0, Shahrdari won the next two sets with the brilliance of Saeed Javaheri, taking the game to the decisive fifth set. In this set, Shahrdari came close to victory but ultimately lost 16-14.
Under the coaching of Behrouz Ataei, who had already defeated Shahrdari twice in the preliminary stage, Foolad remained unbeaten against their Yazd rival. Having surpassed Peykan to reach the final, this is the fifth time Ataei is experiencing the league final; he has two championships with Kaleh Amol in his record.
Foolad Sirjan, now with players like Mohammad Taher Vadi, Mohammad Mousavi, Pouria Hosseinkhanzadeh, Shahrouz Homayounfar, Siamak Marandi, and Mojtaba Mirzajanpour, stands on the brink of championship.
Shahrdari, with a history of two championships, has Milos Arsenovski from Serbia, Radoslav from Bulgaria, Masoud Gholami, Mohammad Valizadeh, Meysam Salehi, and Mohammadreza Hazratpour, under the coaching of Mohammadreza Tondravan.
