The spokesperson for the Ukrainian army stated that Russia did not respond to the request for the delivery of the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers.

Andriy Yosyp, a representative of GUR Ukraine, asked the Russian Federation to hand over the bodies of the victims of the IL-76 plane crash, but received no response.

Andriy Yosyp emphasized that our government’s request for an impartial international investigation is not only about the circumstances of the IL-76 plane crash, but also about what was actually inside it – whether there were people or ammunition, and who else was there besides the crew.

Yosyp also stressed that the situation of the 65 declared prisoners by Russia remains unchanged and they are still considered to be in captivity.
