Strange Poisoning in 3 Villages of Gilan-e-Gharb

Alireza Nazari, the governor of Gilan-e-Gharb, announced on Monday, December 5th, that 100 residents from the three villages of Shirzadi, Niyan, and Qilan have been poisoned.

According to Alireza Nazari, 30 students from the villages of Shirzadi, Niyan, and Qilan visited the clinic with gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting, and about 70 other residents of these villages also experienced poisoning.

He added that some of these individuals self-treated at home and recovered without visiting medical centers, and those who went to clinics and hospitals were discharged after receiving medical services.

The governor of Gilan-e-Gharb announced that health network investigations showed the village water is safe; however, the school was closed for one day, and investigations to find the cause of the incident are ongoing.
