Amir Ghalenoei’s strange comments: The analysis file for Syria wasn’t sent on Telegram due to weak internet

In a bizarre statement, Ghalenoei said, ‘I uploaded the file related to the analysis of Syria in the team’s Telegram group, and on the day of the match, I realized that due to weak internet, the file wasn’t sent. This was the reason for our weakness against Syria.’

In the Telegram group, we had analyzed Akram Afif. Now, the fact that he scored is football; it’s not PlayStation, where one day it’s the player’s day and another day it’s not our team’s day.

The claim that there are coaches in the national team who only agree with my opinions is just an attempt to undermine us.

He continued, ‘The role of a coach is to adopt a system that creates opportunities. The opinions of veterans are respected by us. Before heading to the Nations Cup, we had a two-hour meeting with Majid Jalali. Mr. Majid said we are ahead of what he expected. Many speak with bias and resentment, and in new systems, they grade based on passing.’
