Student protests in Iran continue: The fourth day of the strike by students at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences

Students at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences have been on strike for four days, both in college classes and hospital departments, protesting the detention of four students from this university and the issuance of mass disciplinary rulings that have led to the suspension of many students.

The collective demands of these students are the release of the detained students from this university, the annulment of all disciplinary rulings, the establishment of a peaceful atmosphere at the university, and the elimination of intimidation and repression practices at the university.

It is worth mentioning that the current tense situation at the university has arisen due to the mismanagement by the authorities, if it can be called management at all, and rational actions are expected from university officials to improve the atmosphere. It is obvious that decisions leading to further tension will be strongly condemned by the students.
