Summoning the expelled music student of Tehran University of Art to the courthouse

Khashayar Safidi, a expelled graduate student of music from Tehran University of Art, announced on his Instagram page with a picture of a summons that he has been summoned to the Branch 3 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of District 33 in Tehran.

According to this summons, this expelled student is required to defend himself against the accusation of affiliation with himself in this branch on April 23 at the Branch 3 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of District 33 in Tehran.

Mr. Safidi, along with posting this picture, wrote a verse from Hafez, saying ‘Reproach the fairy-faced beloved, who with a lover’s face, makes a curl a retaliation for a hundred cruelties.’

The precursor of this action, who was expelled from the university after playing the sétar, stood defiantly in front of the Iran Music House on Saturday, February 26, 2023, holding papers that read ‘No to execution.’
