American Academics Support Iranian Protesters

According to CNN, more than two thousand academics from universities across the United States have written a letter to President Joe Biden, urging him to make greater efforts to support the Iranian protesters.

CNN reports that this letter, which has been signed by 10 Nobel laureates among others, was sent on Tuesday.

The authors call for immediate attention to the dire situation in Iranian universities and urge Joe Biden to take more tangible actions, including ending nuclear negotiations with Iran.

Iranian universities have recently witnessed the largest protests since the 1979 revolution.
