The head of the Football Federation said many of the issues that occupied our national team were not football-related

Mehdi Taj, regarding his assessment of the Iranian national team’s results in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, said many of the issues that occupied our national team were not football-related. No one is happy about this non-qualification, neither the fans nor the federation.

Regarding Queiroz not apologizing, he emphasized, I read something from him that I think this happened. He himself announced that we should have been better and also apologized. The federation, as the main authority for football, apologizes to the people.
