Tehran became the most polluted city in the world

According to data from the World Air Quality website, Tehran, the capital of Iran, became the most polluted city in the world on Wednesday, the 25th of November, with an international index of 233.

Data from this website shows that after Tehran, Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, Delhi and Kolkata in India, and Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, rank as the next most polluted cities in the world.

The air quality in Tehran on Wednesday, despite the closure of schools and universities and remote working for offices, remains in the red zone and is very unhealthy for all groups.

According to forecasts by Iran’s meteorological and air quality control organizations, this situation will continue at least until the end of this week.
