The head of Tehran’s city council stated that the contracts of Tehran’s mayor in China are confidential and their disclosure poses a security issue. These contracts have been concluded under the supervision of specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central Bank.

Mehdi Chamran also responded to a question about whether the transportation contracts during the trip of Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, to China are confidential by saying that any member who requested the contract has been given access to it. The contracts are confidential, and their disclosure poses a security issue, but they have been concluded under the supervision of specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central Bank.
