Tehran City Council Member: The wait for people at metro stations is excessive

Mehdi Eghrarian, a member of the Tehran City Council, said the concern of providing metro carriages still exists and the excessive wait for people at metro stations during certain hours is one of the issues that necessitates the addition of metro carriages.

He further stated that as long as the government does not address the excessive concentration in Tehran, our actions will be short-term solutions that will not resolve the problems.

Tehran is like a glass, and if we add several glasses of water to it, it will overflow.

We hope that before Tehran faces a challenge like an earthquake or subsidence, a solution for decentralizing it will be considered.
