Tehran Emergency Public Relations: Record Number of Calls to Emergency Services Broken

According to the Public Relations Manager of Tehran Emergency Services, in the past 24 hours, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, 11,043 people from Tehran province contacted the emergency communication system to receive urgent medical services.

Abolfazl Mahrokh stated that in the past 24 hours, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, 11,043 people from Tehran province contacted the 115 emergency communication system to receive urgent medical services, which is unprecedented in the past year.

The Public Relations Manager of Tehran Emergency Services continued by saying that out of these calls, 4,000 missions were assigned to emergency bases across the province, and service was provided by the operational experts of this organization.

He added that in 7,043 calls, necessary consultations were provided to the callers by the nurses at the organization’s dispatch and operations guidance center.

Mahrokh concluded by saying that Tehran Emergency Services, conducting more than 25% of the country’s total missions, handles the highest volume of calls and missions nationwide.
