The Mayor of Tehran states that installing cameras on the uniforms of Tehran’s city guards is for the protection of individuals.

Alireza Zakani mentioned that the installation of cameras on the uniforms of Tehran’s city guards and guardians is aimed at organizing efforts so that responsible agencies can have better control in various matters and the protection of individuals.

Regarding the import of metro wagons and the disagreements between the municipality and the Ministry of Interior, he clarified that the employer for importing metro wagons is the Ministry of Interior, with 1,071 units contracted for import in two agreements. However, the disagreements were about the approval of the entry package from China, and there is no disagreement on this matter.

Zakani emphasized that there has been no discussion whatsoever about importing escalators and elevators from China, as elevators and escalators are produced in Iran. However, last year, 60 escalators were purchased, and their installation will be completed within three months.
