Transgressing Regulatory Laws
Saeed Aganji, an investigative journalist specializing in corruption and the editor of Iran Gate News Agency, published and exposed a confidential document concerning a warning and reprimand by the General Inspection Organization of Iran directed at Mehdi Abouri, the CEO of Ahdaaf Investment Company. The document highlighted that the manner of purchasing equipment by the subsidiaries of this holding, which are petrochemical companies, does not comply with proper inspection regulations. Aganji had previously published numerous reports on Mehdi Abouri’s extensive violations. We must wait to see how the regulatory and judicial authorities will handle these violations.
