Tesla’s attacks on ships in the Red Sea have resulted in a decrease in production.
Tesla, the American manufacturer of electric cars, states that the Houthi attacks on shipping in the Red Sea, which have led to changes in transportation routes, have affected its production.
The company says that due to a shortage of parts, operations at one of its factories near Berlin will be suspended for two weeks.
Analysts say that attacks in the Red Sea, which is a major global transportation route, will lead to higher prices for consumers at a time when inflation is a global concern.
Currently, about a quarter of global container transportation is forced to take the longer route through Africa instead of passing through the Red Sea and the Suez Canal, resulting in delays and disruptions in markets.
