Following pressures to prevent the popular Bushehr music event, the acting head of the province’s Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance announced that the Koocheh Music Festival can be held in Lian Hall in the city.
This is while in previous years, this festival was held by the public and in public spaces in Bushehr.
This year, with the obstruction of religious institutions and the government, its venue is being moved to a government-controlled hall.
It was previously announced that the Koocheh Music Festival, which was supposed to start on April 24th in Bushehr, was canceled due to pressure from the Friday prayer leader of Dashtestan County.
The Fars News Agency reported that the festival was shut down due to issues of improper hijab, mixing of genders, and dancing.
