The Imam’s Line Forces Assembly questions how the criminals managed to carry out such an operation in the Shiraz tragedy.
Following the terrorist attack on the pilgrims of Shah Cheragh Shrine, the Imam’s Line Forces Assembly issued a statement condemning this crime and asked the responsible authorities how the criminals managed to carry out such an operation.
The text of the statement is as follows:
Indeed, we belong to God, and to Him we shall return. The distressing news of the armed attack on the pilgrims of Ahmad bin Musa Shrine, resulting in the death and injury of several of our compatriots, has added to the grief of our people, already overwhelmed by unfortunate news from all directions. The Imam’s Line Forces Assembly extends its condolences to the grieving families and expresses sincere sympathy with them, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. It seriously questions the responsible authorities on how the criminals managed to carry out such an operation and what actions have been taken regarding potential negligence or failure.
Undoubtedly, what is important in such incidents is preventing their recurrence and ensuring the sustainable security of all members of society, which cannot be overlooked. Unfortunately, in recent weeks, we have witnessed the death and injury of more compatriots in other parts of the country, where in most cases, no individual or group has been officially identified or arrested as the perpetrators of these incidents, and no satisfactory explanations have been provided. It is evident that the cycle of violence, under any name or ideology, is destructive to security and the foundation of homes, targeting the unity and integrity of our beloved Iran.
The instigators and perpetrators of violence are nurtured by extremism, dogmatism, and rigidity, and are far removed from compassion, mercy, interaction, coexistence, respect for others, and the preservation of human dignity.
