The Cabinet approved the formation of South Kerman Province.

Zabihollah Azami Sardoui, the representative of Jiroft in Parliament, stated that the government discussed and approved the formation of South Kerman Province in a session held in July.

The President, during his provincial visit to the city of Darolvelaye Jiroft in Kerman Province, announced to the people of this city the news of forming South Kerman Province.

The representatives are waiting for the government’s bill so that we can review and approve it as soon as we receive it.

The proposal presented in Parliament includes seven counties: Jiroft, Anvarabad, Kahnuj, Rudbar, Ghalehganj, Manujan, and Faryab, which have a population of 1 million people and produce 5 million tons of various agricultural products, as well as rich mines of copper, iron, chromium, titanium, and more.
