The head of the judiciary of Alborz province stated that Armita Abbasi had a history of hemorrhoid problems.

Hossein Fazeli Harikandi, the head of the judiciary of Alborz province, denied the allegations of sexual assault by security forces against Armita Abbasi, a 20-year-old protester from Karaj, and said:

This woman had pre-existing gastrointestinal issues related to hemorrhoid disease, and examinations showed that she currently has no specific problems. She was discharged from the hospital in less than 24 hours, and upon her release, orders were issued for further examinations to ensure no health issues arise in the future.

Due to the nature of her charges and crimes, and because she was a leader in the riots and riotous items and equipment were found at her home, she is under a temporary detention order in Fardis prison. According to the law, she is also in contact with her family.

The rumors about her death or assault are entirely false and have no basis in truth.
