The head of religious seminaries does not support any candidate

Alireza Arafi, the head of the religious seminaries, stated that the seminary never officially and explicitly engages in election-related discussions. The mission of the seminary is to clarify the criteria and standards of a good choice. The head of the seminaries added that the duty of the seminaries is to raise awareness and outline the criteria for choosing the best candidate to encourage maximum participation from all sectors of society, including educators, industrialists, doctors, students, and more. He emphasized that guiding this path is the responsibility of the seminary and the clergy. A member of the Supreme Council of Seminaries stressed that we must strive to have elections based on jurisprudential and ethical models worthy of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic, and therefore, we must promote those models.
