The European Union, Albania, Norway, Ukraine, and other countries are enforcing sanctions on Iran.
The European Union has announced that countries such as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, and Ukraine, which are not members of the EU, have decided to follow the EU’s sanctions against Iran and incorporate them into their domestic regulations.
In a statement released by the European Council on Friday, the decision of these nine countries was welcomed, and it was stated that they will align their domestic policies with the provisions of the EU’s decision regarding Iran.
Following the re-imposition of all sanctions and restrictions related to Iran’s nuclear program by the United Nations Security Council on September 28, the European Council decided to reinstate the EU’s nuclear sanctions against Iran, which had been suspended or lifted under the nuclear deal, the JCPOA.
