The former director of the Ministry of Oil stated that the air quality in major cities is the best evidence for the use of Mazut fuel.

Mahmoud Khaghanifar said that the mafia controlling the economy is hindering the progress of the energy industry due to the lack of technology. We have lost 300 oil wells.

Unfortunately, currently Mazut is used in the country’s fuel basket for the production of cement, steel, and many energy-intensive industries that have low efficiency and lack access to modern energy consumption technologies.

Our power plants have about 35 to 40 percent efficiency, and more than 60 percent of the fuel is wasted.

Therefore, in the oil industry, especially among top managers, we have individuals who seriously need to read at least two books related to the energy industry in Iran and the world.
