According to the French news agency, Assad has also been found guilty of complicity in war crimes against his regime’s opponents. International warrants for the arrest of Maher al-Assad, Bashar’s brother, have also been issued. This warrant has been issued by the judges of the Central Crimes Against Humanity Court in Paris.
