Ali Bahadori Jahromi, the spokesperson and head of the government’s Information Council, tweeted about Iran’s economic growth, saying that some are trying to deny the nearly zero 0.4 percent average economic growth of the past decade. However, according to official statistics and as the President announced in a meeting with the Supreme Leader, with the cooperation of the government and the people, economic growth in the first six months of the administration reached about 5 percent.
