The head of the Nasimshahr council was arrested
The public prosecutor of Baharestan County announced the arrest of the head of the Nasimshahr council, who had fled, and stated that the suspect had changed his appearance to evade capture.
Following the formation of a judicial case regarding the head of the Nasimshahr council and his being pursued, it was stated that after the issuance of the arrest warrant, the head of the Nasimshahr city council, who had changed his appearance to escape, was arrested by the public security police officers of western Tehran province.
He further added that the head of the Nasimshahr council is currently under the jurisdiction of the judicial authorities for case investigation.
The Baharestan prosecutor emphasized the firm stance of the security and judicial bodies against corruption, noting that this council member was arrested on charges of financial corruption, bribery, abuse of position and authority, and influence peddling.
