The head of the Cinema Organization says female actors without hijab must change their approach

Mohammad Khazaei, the head of the Cinema Organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, reiterated in a television program that female actors who do not adhere to the mandatory Islamic hijab are banned from working. He stated that those who have removed their hijab cannot act, which is not a new rule and has not been announced now.

The head of the Cinema Organization further mentioned in this program, referring to some of these individuals who insist on their positions, that they need to change their approach and say that they do not want to be like this and break the rules.

It seems Mr. Khazaei is referring to the reactions of female actors like Taraneh Alidoosti, Hengameh Ghaziani, and Katayoun Riahi, who have reiterated their previous positions on social media, stating that they no longer want to participate in Iranian cinema with mandatory dress codes.
