The report of the parliamentary judicial and legal commission regarding the resolution of the shortcomings of the modesty and hijab bill has been sent to the Guardian Council for a few days, and we are waiting for the Council to review the report and express their opinion on it.

The head of the parliamentary judicial and legal commission added that the Supreme Monitoring Board of the Expediency Discernment Council had also raised objections to the resolutions of the parliament regarding the modesty and hijab bill, and we have responded to them as well.

It should be noted that according to the decision of the representatives of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the hijab and modesty bill was dealt with based on Article 85, meaning it was not discussed in the parliament chamber, and the parliamentary judicial commission examined it and revised it based on the Guardian Council’s feedback.
