The inauguration ceremony of Masoud Pezeshkian will be held next Wednesday afternoon.
A member of the parliament’s presiding board announced the presence of five former presidents and ten parliament speakers in the inauguration ceremony for Pezeshkian so far.
Mojtaba Yousefi stated on Tuesday about the inauguration process of Masoud Pezeshkian, the President, saying that in recent days, the validity of the presidential election has been confirmed by the Guardian Council, and the presidential mandate has been issued by the members of the Guardian Council and sent to the Leader’s office. After the issuance of the mandate, the inauguration ceremony of the seventh President will be held on August 7th with the presence of Ayatollah Khamenei and other national and military authorities at Imam Khomeini’s Hussainiyeh.
A member of the parliament’s presiding board added that after the inauguration ceremony, the President’s swearing-in ceremony will be held on August 9th at the Islamic Consultative Assembly with the presence of the Chief Justice and the head of the Judiciary.
