The International Court of Justice ordered Israel to stop its military attack on Rafah

Judges of the United Nations’ highest court on Friday, May 24th, ordered Israel to halt its military attack on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza

The International Court of Justice stated that it is not convinced that the evacuation of Rafah and other Israeli actions have been sufficient to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians

Nawaf Salam, who chaired today’s session, said temporary measures ordered by the court in March are currently not fully addressing the situation in Gaza, and conditions have been set for a new emergency situation

He added that Israel must immediately stop its military attack in Rafah
