The Iranian national football team is scheduled to play against Russia in a preparatory match on March 21, 2023.

Yesterday, the Iranian Federation sent a letter to the Iraqi Federation, expressing its readiness to hold a friendly match in Tehran.

The Iranian Federation is awaiting a response from the Iraqi side. However, this match will only take place if Iran hosts it. If the Iraqis propose to host the match in their own country, the game will be canceled.
