The Islamic Republic newspaper: Raisi's government is not ruled by dollars or rials

The Islamic Republic newspaper stated that President Raisi’s government does not control the dollar or the rial.

The Islamic Republic newspaper mentioned in its editorial that when the thirteenth government took over from the previous government, the dollar was 24,000 tomans, and now it is over 60,000 tomans, meaning two and a half times increase.

Criminals are not only those who commit corruption on earth; individuals who play a role in the rise of foreign currency prices in various ways are also criminals, and this crime should be called as some well-meaning individuals have suggested, ‘currency corruption’.

The shameful state of our national currency is the result of decisions made hastily in the economic arena, and of course, the unmeasured facilities and foreign credits given, especially to profiteers, are a prime example of the corruption in imports, famously known as the ‘tea corruption’ case.

The smoke rising from such decisions that harm the economy is visible to the people, whose tables are empty of meat and fruit, holding their faces with red clay. Will the day come when the filthy file of currency corruption is also addressed?
