The Largest Indian Election

The Election Commission of India has stated that the general elections in the country will be held in seven phases over more than a month and a half.

Rajiv Kumar, the Chief Election Commissioner, said in a press conference that the final results will be announced on June 4th.

With about 968 million eligible voters, India’s election will be the largest in the world.

Polls predict a victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party led by Narendra Modi and his allies, which would be his third term in power if successful.
