The name of the Iranian Football Federation has been removed from the FIFA website.
In the new format of the FIFA website, the name of the Iranian Football Federation is not visible in the section of AFC member federations.
Apparently, the reason for this is the update of the global federation’s website, and the Iranian federation has also requested, through correspondence with FIFA, to have our country’s name included alongside other Asian countries as soon as possible.
However, apart from Iran, countries like Syria and Northern Mariana Islands in Asia, and some other countries in other continents, have also not had their names listed on the FIFA website after the update, so this situation is not exclusive to our country’s federation.
