The national judo team for the deaf missed the World Championships in Kazakhstan due to lack of financial resources and lack of sponsor support. Iran was supposed to participate with 7 male judokas and one female in these competitions, which are held from April 24 to 26.

The head of the Deaf Judo Association said that all necessary measures had been taken through the sponsor, but unfortunately, the sponsor informed us that they could not support the team in participating in the World Championships in Kazakhstan. Unfortunately, this is the second time that the dispatch of the deaf judo team to the world championships has been canceled due to lack of financial resources.
