The official government newspaper has also experienced a decline in automobile production

The official government newspaper has reported a decline in automobile production.

The Iran newspaper, the official government newspaper, has written that in the past few months, a large number of car registrants have suffered financial losses due to the opportunism of automakers and assemblers, and they certainly cannot recover the money they have paid because their contracts have been changed by force.

The Minister of Industry, Mining, and Trade has announced that automakers do not have the right to force buyers to purchase their products and must operate based on contracts in the integrated system, according to the law.

These conditions have arisen while automobile production has also declined, whereas automakers were supposed to produce at least 1.6 million vehicles this year. The statistics indicate that automakers will not reach this production figure.

This situation also gives new signals to car buyers, and perhaps these negative news reports have caused people to become skeptical of automakers because they fear that the market will once again face a shortage of cars. Therefore, they accept the recommendation or coercion of automakers and pay more for the proposed cars of automakers and assemblers.

Buyers of Quick, Saina, Rana Plus, Dena Plus, Shahin, Peugeot 207, and Tara cars have experienced and raised their concerns and complaints multiple times about the mentioned issues.

One of the registrants of the integrated system has mentioned about the Dena car. They stated, ‘I bought a Dena car through the integrated car system, but suddenly the price of this car increased by 80 million tomans. This number is very high, and it is clear that the car manufacturer did not think about how we should pay the price difference.’
