The Revolutionary Guards of Qom announced the arrest of several protesters in the city of Qom.

The public relations department of the Revolutionary Guards of Qom issued a statement announcing the arrest of several protesters in this city.

According to IRNA, the statement mentioned that with the help of the province’s Revolutionary Guards intelligence organization, several key network leaders active in cyberspace, who played a guiding role in carrying out actions disrupting security in the province, were identified and arrested.

The statement did not provide details on the number of individuals arrested or their names, but it stated that these individuals were involved in inciting unrest, encouraging graffiti, distributing leaflets, insulting the clergy, and other actions that disrupt public security.

In recent days, Iran’s judiciary has issued heavy sentences for a number of protesters, and despite such sentences, nationwide protests in Iran continue.
