The Secretary General of the Football Federation did not issue visas for more than 11 members of the Iranian team caravan for the match against Belgium.

Heydar Mombini, the Secretary General of the Iranian Football Federation, announced that more than 11 members of the managerial and executive staff of the national team caravan were not able to obtain visas for the trip to the location of the match against Belgium.

In an interview with the Football Federation’s website, he said these individuals will not accompany the national team in the match against Belgium due to the non-issuance of visas.

This is the severalth time that a number of members of the Iranian national team caravan have faced visa issues in the World Cup competitions and have lost the opportunity to be present alongside the team.
