Sepehr and Jofeir are the names of oil fields that were handed over to Majid Ghasemi with the regime’s approval
But in reality, it’s a case code in the Ministry of Oil involving hundreds of millions of dollars of unreturned oil money. Sepehr Jofeir is essentially linked to Adman Nafarieh, one of the biggest oil brokers, for whom Ghasemi, the CEO of Pasargad Bank, issued a multi-million dollar guarantee to sell Iranian oil and return the money, which was not returned

The matter becomes more interesting when Sadeghabadi, the protege and trustee of Zanganeh, who was the deputy oil minister at the time and the current CEO of Pasargad Holding, provided special favors to Adman Nafarieh. Meanwhile, he handed over the development of the important Sepehr and Jofeir fields to Majid Ghasemi to secure his position after leaving the government and eventually become the CEO of this significant rent-seeking company. Now, the Ministry of Oil is seeking its money, and no one is accountable
