The Strait of Hormuz should remain open to shipping without any tolls.
Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, mentioned the recent tensions between Iran and the United States, saying that the Middle East is caught in a dangerous cycle of attacks, retaliatory actions, and fragile ceasefires.
She emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz was open to international shipping without tolls before the war began, and after the end of the conflicts, it should continue to operate without any tolls.
