The three-year cruise trip around the world has been canceled.

After weeks of silence, the company organizing this trip admitted to the passengers that they do not have a ship and have canceled the journey. They have committed to refunding the money to those who have registered for the sea trips with costs of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Initially, the cruise ship was supposed to depart from Istanbul, Turkey on November 1st, but the departure date was postponed to November 11th.

However, on November 17th, less than two weeks before the scheduled departure, the passengers were informed that the sea voyage has been canceled.

Some of the passengers who have reserved 111 cabins are still in Istanbul and had traveled there before the initial departure date.

Others say they have nowhere to return to as they have sold or rented their homes in anticipation of the round-the-world trip, and have also abandoned their belongings.
