The United States asked all its citizens to immediately leave Iran

The United States has urged all its citizens to immediately take action to leave Iran.

The U.S. Virtual Embassy, citing nationwide protests, increased violence, and widespread communication and internet outages in Iran, has warned American citizens to expect continuous internet disruptions, to plan for alternative communication methods, and to consider leaving Iran by land, if safe, to Armenia or Turkey.

The notice asks American citizens to continuously update their families about their status under current conditions, to be prepared for communication outages, and to leave the country via land routes if possible.

This warning was issued while several European countries also gave similar warnings to their citizens on Monday. At the same time, it was reported that France has evacuated its non-essential embassy staff from Iran.
