The United States imposed new sanctions against four officials of the International Criminal Court.
The United States is imposing sanctions on four other individuals associated with the International Criminal Court, citing their ongoing threat to Americans and Israelis as the reason for the sanctions.
The sanctioned individuals include two judges and two deputy prosecutors.
Judge Kimberly Prost is on the sanctions list for authorizing an investigation into American forces in Afghanistan, and Judge Nicolas Guillou is on the list for authorizing the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu, the former Prime Minister of Israel, and Yoav Gallant, the former Minister of Defense of Israel.
Deputy prosecutors Nazhat Shameem Khan and Mame Mandiaye Niang are also being sanctioned, with the United States describing the reason as their continued support for the actions of the International Criminal Court against Israel.
Previously, in June of last year, the United States had also sanctioned four judges of the International Criminal Court.
