The US sanctioned hundreds of companies related to the Ukraine war

The United States Department of the Treasury announced on Wednesday, May 12, that about 200 companies and entities in Russia, China, and other countries have been targeted with new sanctions due to their cooperation and connection with Moscow in the invasion of Ukraine.

According to American officials, Moscow has tried to bypass the sanctions imposed against it by collaborating with Chinese companies and other countries.

In this regard, the US State Department also announced that it has sanctioned more than 80 companies and entities in connection with Russia’s war in Ukraine.

These sanctions are considered among the most extensive actions by the White House against those Chinese companies that have supported Russia’s war with Ukraine in various ways.
