The Parliamentary Deputy of the President says the options for the Ministries of Defense and Intelligence have not been determined yet.
The Parliamentary Deputy of the President of Iran announced that the candidates for the Ministries of Defense and Intelligence have not yet been appointed.
In response to a question about the possibility of extending the three-month deadline for introducing ministers, Mohsen Esmaeili said this matter depends on wartime conditions, but he expressed hope that there would be no need to extend this period.
The Ministries of Defense and Intelligence are currently being managed by acting heads following the recent attacks that resulted in the deaths of the former ministers.
According to the law, the President can appoint acting heads for ministries without ministers for up to three months until the final candidates are introduced to the Parliament.
