The White House is not in a position to confirm the events in Tehran.

John Kirby, spokesperson for the White House National Security Council, stated that the White House is not in a position to confirm the events in Tehran and whether the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas, was an Israeli action.
