There is no reason to sell our cars at a loss

There is no reason to supply our vehicles at a loss.

The CEO of Iran Khodro has caused losses for shareholders due to mandatory pricing, and according to Article 90 of the Constitution, the government is obliged to compensate the manufacturer for the losses. Our request from the authorities is to cancel the mandatory pricing.

Supplying vehicles at a lower price in the commodity exchange takes place, and studies show that 80% of those who buy cars in the exchange are actual customers.

The lottery has caused billions of tomans in losses for car manufacturers, and there is no reason for Iran Khodro to supply its products at a predetermined price and at a loss.

The recent letter from the Competition Council has caused confusion in society, and some have claimed that supplying cars in the exchange has led to an increase in prices in the market, which is not confirmed or supported by technical and empirical expertise.
