The spokesperson for the Guardian Council rejects the bill on chastity and hijab again

The spokesperson of the Guardian Council announced that the bill on chastity and hijab has been rejected by the Guardian Council.

The Guardian Council has returned the bill known as the chastity and hijab bill to the Iranian Parliament.

Hadi Tahan Nazif, the spokesperson of the Guardian Council, stated that there are still some issues and ambiguities in this bill, so we have referred it back to the Parliament for further amendments.

Whenever the Parliament addresses these remaining issues and ambiguities, we will review the amended bill and announce the final opinion of the Guardian Council.
